a little Hobby Horse for Tyler

This is my first attempt at making a Hobby Horse.  I used Melly & Me's Giddy Up pattern.  This one was a gift for Tyler who turned 1 in June! Fabrics used for this project was mainly from Timeless Treasures ''Shipyard'' collection.

Just Stay Little Quilt - yet to be finished!

I just adore Sarah Jane's ''Children At Play'' collection.  So much so that I just had to make a quilt for our guest bed in the kitchen!

Here is the finished quilt top, now I just need to put it together and quilt it!

Dog & Truck Pencil Roll Holder

Last month I made another pencil roll holder, this one for a friend's little son!  I used Laurie Wisbrun's Big Trucks In Spring fabric!

The pattern for this pencil roll holder can be purchased from my Etsy Shop!

Far Far Away Quilt for Mia

I been holding on to my little fat quarter stash of Far Far Away fabrics from Heather Ross, not knowing what to make and feeling too scared to even cut the gorgeous prints...  I finally did it and here is a quilt for my daughter Mia!

Tumbler Cushion

I'm making some new cushions for our lounge-room couches. I have used a tumbler pattern in various fabrics such as Flea Market Fancy, Sweet by Urban Chick and Darla by Tanya Whelan.

Wild Thing Quilt 2

I made one of these quilts two years ago for a little boy turning 5 and decided to make another one, this one for an old friend turning 40!

Guitar Pencil Roll Holders

Today I made two new pencil roll holders in Guitar fabric by Robert Kaufman, these ones will be for sale in my shop in the next few days.  I also sell the pattern in my Etsy Store.

Feb - April

I've done it again.  I've let life take over and not blogged for months and months...  I've had a very rocky start to 2012, which has slowed my sewing spirit down a bit.  I thought I might just do a little photo summary of some of the things that I have made since February till now, and hopefully will get back to normal from here.

I designed this bag myself with the intention of writing a pattern for it.  It didn't happen, but I have used the bag a lot and might still get around to that one day!

This was another bag that I made up from some Amy Butler scraps that I had lying around!

I also made another Sweet Pea Bag, this one in Amy Butler fabrics, mainly Midwest Modern
